In conclusion, Gate 28, the Preponderance of the Great or the Gate of the Game Player, represents the energy to take intuitively-led risks and face life's struggles with courage. At its highest expression, it cultivates a relationship with fear that harnesses its wisdom and finds joy in overcoming obstacles. However, at its lowest expression, it can lead to dangerous behavior or feelings of hopelessness. To raise the frequency of this energy, it is important to become intimate with the fear of death, seek out its wisdom, and cultivate a supportive relationship with it.
Gate 28’s darkest fear is that your life will end before you have the chance to find meaning in it. This energy is laser-focused on determining which risks will make you feel truly alive, and which struggles will bring your life’s meaning. Because Gate 28 is located inside of the Splenic Center, it is always looking for danger and with this awareness of danger, you are willing to take life or death risks that many others would not. Constantly coming face to face with your own mortality brings you to a deep awareness of the purpose and meaning in your life.

This energy controls the rules the community lives by, upholding or challenging the laws to ensure they continue to align with values. Has a great awareness of the power of money and resources, and can either distribute equitably or in negative circumstances may be inclined to hoard. The drive to commit to new experiences, with no guarantees of a positive outcome. This energy is concerned with the soul, and the unconditional love of whatever form of spirituality you prescribe to.
The more times that you confront your mortality, the more the fear of death lessens. Gate 28 encourages individuals to approach life as a game, where risks are taken, challenges are faced, and growth is achieved. It reminds us that life is not meant to be lived in fear or stagnation but rather as an adventure filled with opportunities for self-discovery and personal evolution. By embracing the energy of Gate 28, individuals can tap into their inner game player, finding joy in the journey and courageously facing whatever comes their way. Gate 28’s deepest fear is that we might die before we know what makes our lives worth living, or what gives our lives meaning. This fear is an energy that is laser-focused on listening with awareness in order to best determine which risks will make us feel more alive, and lead to struggles which bring purpose to our existence.
The gate for wisdom, this energy is concerned with the understanding that reacting is impulsive and often leads to mistakes, while pausing can pave the way for a more rational response. People with this gate defined flourish when around emotionally healthy individuals, and they work to help facilitate such an environment.
